Who are we?
Owned and operated by Jamie Seel, the company takes an unwavering stand against fast-fashion and fixates on quality design, craftsmanship, ethics, and local American production. SEEL ventures to offer designs that transcend the conventional and maintain local and ethical production.
What Makes Us Different?
All of our leather is produced entirely in the US (Pennsylvania, to be exact) in one of the oldest tanneries in the country, Wickett and Craig. While most leather is tanned with harmful chemicals such as chromium, the leather we use is tanned using natural plant based agents. This process takes much more time but is not harmful to the environment or those working in the tannery. This creates a higher cost in our products but we believe sustainability is worth it.
Where are our products made?
Our products are designed, patterned, sampled, and produced by hand in a small workshop in Columbus, Ohio. We believe firmly in ethical All-American production where craftspeople are paid fair wages for their skills, and work in a comfortable workshop environment.
We strive to educate our customers on the horrific reality of "fast fashion" that has been made popular by low price points, but reflects unsustainable, unethical, and often inhumane methods of production overseas. Our products showcase exemplary quality ensured by talented artisans. The maker revolution is gaining momentum, and SEEL contributes to this movement by sourcing from as many Columbus and Ohio-based businesses as possible.
Return & Exchange Policy
We accept returns and exchanges for unused, new items within 7 days of purchase. If the 7 day period has expired and you still need to return your item, please contact email@example.com for support, as store credit may be available.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Original packaging, receipt, and tags must be included. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for complete instructions for returning your item.
Sample Sale items and gift cards are not eligible for return or exchange.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card within 14 days.
We accept exchanges within 14 days of original purchase. We will replace items that are defective or damaged. Please send an email to email@example.com if you need to exchange an item.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you electronically.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning or exchanging your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
